The chuckle went, the doggy came: Musk changed the Twitter logo
Ever since Elon Musk, the world’s No. 1 richest man, bought the microblogging site Twitter, he has been changing things. This time he has made a big change. He has changed Twitter’s blue bird logo which is popular all over the world. They have replaced the iconic blue logo of a flying sparrow, which has been used for years as the home button on the web-version, with a picture of a puppy (Doge Meme). Notably, this puppy’s image is also of cryptocurrency Dogecoin. Dogecoin, the meme coin displayed as the Twitter logo, has surged 20 percent in value.
Obviously, many Twitter users around the world did not like Musk’s decision. The blue bird logo remains on the Twitter-mobile app. Elon Musk acquired Twitter last year for $44 billion.
