Anthony Albanese Holi: Australia's PM Albanese dressed in Holi colors plays Holi with CM and Governor
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Ablanes is visiting India. He reached Ahmedabad from Australia on Wednesday. Where Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel welcomed him at the airport. After which Albanese visited Sabarmati Ashram. Later, according to his program, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese played Holi at Raj Bhavan. Albanese himself tweeted about this color festival. He wrote – I am overwhelmed by celebrating Holi in Ahmedabad, India. The festival of Holi always inspires us all with the message of victory over demonic power.
When Australian PM Anthony Albanese reached MP Raj Bhavan in the evening of Dhuleti, Governor Acharya Devvratji and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel greeted him with gulal tilak and flowers. Governor Acharya Devvratji while interacting with PMA MP of Australia said that festivals are celebrated in almost every month of the year in India. People celebrate festivals with gaiety, which increases mutual love, affection and amity. Holi is also called the festival of ‘Nav Shashti’, this season marks the arrival of new food in the farmers’ homes. The farmer of India is more happy in this season. The happiness and joy of the general public is reflected in the Rangotsava.
Prime Minister of Australia enjoyed folk dances
As part of Rangotsav, dignitaries enjoyed the colorful folk dances of Holi. Holi dances started with the ‘Rathwa Holi Gher dance’ of Kawant region of Gujarat. Non-Holi dances from Rajasthan, Ghummar and Chang were performed. Then the Krishna-Gopi Raas of Gujarat was performed and lastly the Lathtamar dance of Uttar Pradesh’s ‘Barsana Ki Holi’ was performed.
The Prime Minister of Australia was very impressed by the performance of these traditional Holi folk dances of India. He took photographs of the actors with his mobile phone. Australia’s High Commissioner to India, Youth Barry Robert O’Farrell, was with him. At the end of the folk dances, both dignitaries showered flowers on each other. The Prime Minister of Australia, MP also showered flowers on the members of the Australian delegation. He also showered flowers on Governor Acharya Devvratji and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel. Cabinet members also enjoyed the color festival by showering flowers on the dignitaries.

Expressing happiness on this occasion, the PM of Australia said, “I am extremely impressed by seeing the diverse culture of glorious India.” This is my first official visit to India as Prime Minister, but earlier in 1991 I came to India as a young man and stayed in India for six weeks. At the same time, I had a closer look at wonderful India. He thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi and said, I am grateful to him for his warm invitation to visit India. I am sure that India and Australia will cooperate in many fields and make mutual progress in the coming time. He said, I am also very excited that tomorrow we are going to watch a cricket match at Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world. He wished all the Gujaratis and Indians.
