A 58-year-old man named Dayaram died due to a huge explosion in a smartphone in Ujjain.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot. The body has been sent for post-mortem. According to information received, the old man was looking at something on the phone when a huge explosion occurred. The old man suffered serious injuries below the neck and died on the spot.

Manish Mishra, in-charge of Badnagar Police Station, said that the mobile was charging and when the blast occurred, the elderly were probably standing with the mobile in hand.
