In Surat, MLA Kumar Kanani and the private bus association have gone to war. Passengers have become victims of the dispute between BJP MLA Kumar Kanani and the Luxury Bus Association. In Surat, luxury bus managers have decided that buses will not come to the city from today. So the luxury bus drivers dropped the passengers outside the city. Due to this, the rickshaw pullers looted the passengers. Passengers alleged that the rickshaw drivers were charging Rs 500 fare instead of Rs 200 from passengers stuck in the middle of the dispute. The passengers who came early in the morning were disturbed by the sudden change of decision. On the other hand, the police has claimed that action will be taken against the rickshaw pullers who charge more fare.

Rickshaw drivers charged three times the fare

Luxury buses have stopped entering Surat from today. Due to which the passengers coming from outside had to face a lot of trouble. The bus association decided not to bring the bus to the city after a complaint by Kumar Kanani, a BJP MLA from Varachha. MLA Kumar Kanani had written a letter demanding the running of sleeping ST buses in Surat. In which sleeping ST bus has been demanded in Katargam, Varachha, Pune area. Also, Kumar Kanani complained that private luxury bus operators are running open robbery. So they also demanded to survey the routes of private buses.

Kanani gives unsolicited advice to passengers

On the other hand, Kumar Kanani accused the president of the bus association that the passengers are being harassed. Kumar Kanani said that if people have to go to the village two to five times, they should bear a little. Kumar Kanani demanded that the bus association should reduce the ticket rates if they want to drop passengers outside the city. Kanani said, I only suggested to implement the police announcement. The bus association president is proud. I will make a representation to the corporation and arrange for BRTS.

Kumar Kanani said that the traffic department circular is already there. People go once or twice a year. People want to get rid of the traffic problem. The meeting will be organized today. A city bus system will be created for the passengers. I have asked to take entry after 10 pm.
