Attack on Sonu Nigam: Son of MLA fights with Sonu Nigam, case filed against son of MLA from Uddhav group

Attack on Sonu Nigam: Singer Sonu Nigam was attacked during a live music event in Chembur, Mumbai. Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Faterpekar’s son carried out the attack, following which the police registered a case late last night.
Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has filed a case in the selfie controversy after an incident in Mumbai. He was in the Chembur area for a concert, where he was coming out after the incident, when a man came out for a selfie, and he lashed out. During this time Sonu Nigam’s bodyguard tried to save him and the man allegedly assaulted him. After the FIR, the singer spoke to the media and narrated the entire incident.
Singer hospitalized after injuries
After complaining to the police, the famous singer said, “I was coming down from the stage after the concert when a man Swapnil Prakash Futterpacker grabbed me. Then he pushed Hari and Rabbani who came to save me. Then I fell on the stairs. I have filed a complaint, so that people don’t think of forced selfies and fisticuffs. However, it was earlier reported that Sonu Nigam has been admitted to the hospital after sustaining injuries. When he said he was fine.
Sonu Nigam complained to the police
After the incident, Mumbai Police said, “During an incident in Chembur, some people were trying to take a selfie with Sonu Nigam when a scuffle broke out. During the incident, two people fell with the singer, one suffered minor injuries. Later, Sonu Nigam reached the Chembur police station, where he lodged a complaint about what happened during the event.
Case registered against MLA Prakash Fatterpekar’s son Swapnil Faterpekar
After the incident, Sonu Nigam reached the Chembur police station late at night to file a complaint. After that MLA Prakash Faterpekar also reached the police station. The police have registered a case against Swapnil Fatterpakar, son of Uddhav Thackeray group MLA Prakash Fatterpakar, based on the complaint of Sonu Nigam. Police have registered a case under Sections 341, 323, 337 of the IPC and further investigation is on in the matter.
