Murder of delivery boy for iPhone: Dead body kept at home for 3 days, body was taken on scooty to the location, caught on CCTV camera

A case of murder of an iPhone delivery boy has come to light in Karnataka. This incident is from Hassan in Karnataka. The 20-year-old committed the murder because he did not have money to buy a mobile phone. Police have arrested the accused.


It may be noted that the accused kept the body of the delivery boy in the house for 3 days. Then they tried to burn the dead body by throwing it on the bank of the railway station.

Understand this whole matter

Accused Hemant Dutta wanted to buy a mobile, but he did not have the money. So the accused made a plan. He pre-ordered the iPhone from Flipkart. When the 23-year-old delivery boy reached the house of the accused on February 7 to deliver the mobile, he was asked to wait.

A few minutes later, Hemant called him inside and attacked him with a sharp weapon, killing the delivery boy on the spot. The police recovered the body of the deceased from Ankakoppal railway station in Arsikere on February 11.


The accused was caught through CCTV footage

Three days after the murder, Manju Naik, brother of the deceased, filed a missing complaint of Hemant Naik at the police station. During the investigation, the police have arrested the accused on the basis of the CCTV footage. It may be noted that two days ago the accused was also seen buying petrol in a bottle from a petrol pump.

46 thousand mobile was

The police informed on Sunday that the accused had ordered a second-hand iPhone online, the price of which was 46 thousand rupees. Hemant Naik, the delivery boy of E-Kart, was responsible for delivering this order. E-Kart is the parent company of Flipcard.


According to the police, the accused went inside the room with the mobile phone without paying. Nike waited at the door for the rupees. But Hemant Dutta called him inside the house on some pretext and killed him. After the murder, when the accused did not realize anything, he kept the dead body in his house for three days.
