Gujarat govt to bring strict law on paper leak, 1 crore fine and 10 years imprisonment for paper leakers

Provision of 3 years imprisonment and fine of 1 lakh to those who cheat in examination. The government may introduce this bill in the budget session of the next assembly.


The government is now going to bring a strict law to prevent the incidents of paper leaks in Gujarat. The government may introduce this bill in the budget session of the next assembly. In this bill, a penalty of three years and a fine of one lakh has been kept for those who cheat in the examination and a fine of at least one crore rupees and a penalty of 10 years for those who tear the paper. It is also known that this bill has been given to the MLAs.

Strict provisions of fine up to Rs 1 crore

The government wants to take strict action on the paper leak issue. Questions are being raised against the government regarding the scam like paper leak. The new law provides for strict punishment for negligence on the part of all government and non-government members involved in the recruitment process. In which the new law may be passed in the assembly with stringent provisions of 10 years imprisonment and fine up to 1 crore rupees against the accused. The government has made preparations to implement this Act to prevent examination malpractices, to instill and sustain the confidence of the general public and to ensure undisputed credibility in public recruitment examinations.


Non-bailable offense against paper leaker

The bill will be brought in the assembly house. This bill will have a provision in which the property of the accused who burst the paper will be confiscated and the loss will be compensated. Convicted examinees cannot appear for 2 years. Apart from that, a non-bailable offense will be registered against the person who leaked the paper

Many incidents of paper leaks have come to light, and due to these incidents, many questions have been raised about the future of students. The government is facing public anger. Many questions have also been raised against these incidents when big officials change but the method does not change.
