2 employees of Amul Industries in Rajkot drank poison in the collector's office, went on a rampage on the road over salary issue
The employees of Amul Industries in Aji GIDC of Rajkot went on strike for non-payment of salary and a large number of employees gathered at the Collector’s office and raised slogans. Where the employees gathered and staged a dharna. Out of which two workers tried to commit suicide by swallowing poisonous medicine. Due to which the policemen stopped both of them. Even at that time, both the workers protested on the road and presented to the media to fulfill their demands.
What is the whole matter
The employees of Amul Industries in Aji GIDC of Rajkot staged a dharna at the collector office of Rajkot. Where the workers named Ramesh Bakutra and Girdhar Solanki attempted suicide. Ramesh Bakutra, who was wandering on the road, told the media that today 450 workers working in Amul Industries Company, which manufactures stoves in GIDC, came to the collector’s office to picket in front of the company.
PF is deducted from the salary amount
He further said that the owner of the company, Suresh Keshavji Santoki, has not paid his dues for the last 3 months and for the last 21 months, PF is deducted from the salary amount but not credited to the account. After asking several times in this regard, proper reply is not given, regarding which the CM and the Home Minister addressed the Collector and submitted a complaint.
The owner’s house was also damaged
He further said that, however, no action has been taken against the company by the system. Due to which the angry workers came to the collector’s office today. Before this, they also staged protests in front of the house of Suresh Santoki, the owner of Amul Industries. At that time, around 450 workers sat on hunger strike in front of the company and demanded their rightful money. But there was no change. Then we have the same demand that the government should mediate in this matter and give the salary and PF amount of the employees of the company.
