Murali Vijay got an opportunity to debut for India in the year 2008. He played a total of 61 Tests, 17 ODIs and 9 T20Is for the country. In Tests, Murali scored 3982 runs at an average of 38.29, including 12 centuries. He has scored a total of 339 runs in ODIs. Talking about T20, here Murali scored only 169 runs. In December 2018, he played his last Test match against Australia.
