Alto K10 CNG: Maruti launches Alto, great mileage at low price

Maruti Suzuki has now also launched Alto K10 with CNG. The updated Alto K10 was launched earlier this year with significant styling updates and better fuel efficiency. Now with the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10’s mileage has increased significantly.

• Alto K10 CNG has been launched with VXI variant. Its ex-showroom price is Rs. 5.95 lakh, however, the on-road price of the car is Rs. 6.50 lakh will reach above.
• In CNG mode, the Alto K10 produces 64.46 hp of power and 82.1 Nm of torque. The mileage of Alto K10 CNG is around 33.85 kmpl.
• The Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre K-series dual-jet, dual VVT engine. Along with CNG, it will also get petrol option. It gives a petrol mileage of around 25 kmpl.
• Apart from the engine, the car has undergone many major changes. The front gets a restyled grille, new side profile and a new wheel cap design on 13-inch tires.
• The new Alto K10 gets a touchscreen display inside, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Maruti Suzuki claims that the updated Alto K10 is getting a very strong response from the market.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new Alto K10 S-CNG. It has been launched in only one variant-VXI S-CNG. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 5,94,500. The all-new Alto K10 S-CNG gets the next-gen K Series 1.0-litre dual-jet, dual-VVT engine. In CNG mode the engine produces a peak power of 41.7kW@5300RPM and claims that the Altona K10 S-CNG delivers a mileage of 33.85 km/kg.

Speaking about the launch of Maruti Alto K10 CNG, Shashank Srivastav, Senior Executive, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said that the company has sold more than 10 lakh S-CNG vehicles so far. The new Alto K10-CNG will promote the company’s eco-friendly technology and help in its wider adoption.

Like the standard VXi petrol variant, the CNG variant gets a 2-DIN SmartPlay audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, 2 speakers, impact sensing door unlock, central locking, speed sensing auto door lock, manual adjustable wing mirrors, AUX and USB ports, front power window, roof antenna and Features like body colored door handles will be available.

Currently, the 2022 Maruti Alto K10 is available in four manual and two AMT variants. The Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+ manual variants are priced at Rs 3.99 lakh, Rs 4.82 lakh, Rs 5.00 lakh and Rs 5.34 lakh respectively. On the other hand, the VXi AMT model is priced at Rs 5.50 lakh and the range topping VXi+ AMT variant is available at Rs 5.85 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Now a VXi CNG variant has also been added to it.

With the launch of the new Alto K10 CNG, the Indo-Japanese carmaker now has a total of 13 S-CNG models in its product portfolio. These include Alto, Alto K10, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Baleno, XL6, Super Carry and Tour S.
