Daughter killed for government job: Having more than two children, she was afraid of going to work, parents killed her

A case of throwing a five-month-old girl into a canal has come to light in Rajasthan’s Bikaner. Masoom was thrown away by none but his parents. What is more shocking is that the murder was committed by her father to save his government job. Father Zanwarlal killed his daughter Anshika alias Anshu in order not to face any problem in the government job he got on contract. The police have arrested both the accused father and mother.

The incident is from Chattargarh Police Station area of Bikaner. Zanwarlal works on contract as a school assistant in Chandsar village. Superintendent of Police Yogesh Yadav said that Zanwarlal also involved his wife in this incident. He had gone to his brother-in-law’s house in Chhattargarh two days ago. On Sunday evening, the girl was thrown into the canal while going to Diatra from her brother-in-law’s house in Char CHD. After that, Diyatra left for his home.

Zanwarlal was on the bike with his wife and two children. The couple threw the 5-month-old baby girl into the Indira Gandhi Canal Project (IGNP) at 5 pm on Sunday. Seeing Masoom being thrown away, some people screamed and the bike-riding parents ran away. People pulled the girl out of the canal, but by then she had died.

Blockade was imposed in Chattargarh and Khajuwala areas as soon as the information about the incident was received. Where Trainee Sub-Inspector Mukesh Kumar of Khajuwala stopped the couple’s bike. On questioning, Zanwarlal said that he had gone to his brother-in-law’s house. Suspicious, Mukesh Kumar took his photo. Also took a photo of the bike. Zanwarlal’s Aadhaar card photo was also taken from the mobile. After that he was let go. When the higher officials came to know about this, the information of Zanwarlal was taken from the people of Diyatra. After this the couple was arrested.

Zanwarlal hoped that it would soon become permanent. There is a condition in the job that there should not be more than two children. Even after throwing a baby girl into the canal, he has three children. Out of them he has adopted a daughter to his elder brother. He says that the girl accidentally fell into the canal.
