Let's love openly... Boy-girl romance on scooty, watch viral video

Couple Video: A video of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is becoming very viral on social media. In which a young man and a young woman are seen romancing on a moving scooty. After this video went viral, the police have come into action.


Police have arrested a youth and a minor girl for openly spreading obscenity on the road. Both were romancing on a moving scooty in Hazratganj, Lucknow. The boy was riding a scooty. The girl was sitting on the boy’s lap and was seen hugging and kissing him.

A video of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is going viral on social media. In which a young man and a young woman are seen romancing on a moving scooty. After this video went viral, the police have come into action. Based on the video, the police team finally arrested the accused youth. Now the police have registered a case under section 279 and 294 of IPC in this matter.

Romance on a moving scooty

The case is from Hazratganj area of Lucknow. Police have arrested a youth and a minor girl for openly spreading obscenity on the road. Both were romancing on a moving scooty in Hazratganj, Lucknow. The boy was riding a scooty. The girl was sitting on the boy’s lap and was seen hugging him in his arms and kissing him. Some people captured this scene in mobile cameras and made the video viral on social media.

A case was registered under IPC sections


After this, the police registered a case under sections 279 and 294 of the IPC. Now the police is preparing to take action against the 23-year-old accused youth and the minor girl under these sections. Let us know what are the provisions of these sections of the IPC and what is the punishment if found guilty under them.

IPC Section 279 (IPC Section 279)

According to Section 279 of the Indian Penal Code, whoever drives a vehicle negligently on a public road and endangers human life or causes hurt or injury to any person shall be held guilty.

Provision of punishment

Imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months on conviction. Or he is fined, which may extend to one thousand rupees. or convicts are punished with both. It is a bailable and cognizable offence. Such cases can be heard by any Magistrate. This crime does not deserve to be forgiven or reconciled.

IPC Section 294 (IPC Section 294)

According to section 294 of the Indian Penal Code, any person, with intent to provoke another, commits any obscene act, sings any obscene song, fable or words in any public place, or in or about any public place, or if he utters this Accused under Sec.


In simple words, Section 294 of the IPC provides that if a man or a woman commits any obscene act in public, the police can take action against him. However, there is no clear definition of obscenity in the law. If you kiss or hug your girlfriend or your boyfriend or your husband or wife in a railway station, market, school or any other public place then the meaning can be understood. If you indulge in romance, the police can charge you under Section 294 of the IPC, calling it obscenity.
