Mass suicide in Dudhrej Canal
According to the information received, 3 members of the same family have committed mass suicide by jumping into Dudhrej Canal in Surendranagar. Early this morning, parents and daughter jumped into the canal. Fire and police teams immediately rushed to the spot after the locals informed the fire department and police department. After this incident, a large number of locals gathered at the place of the incident.
The cause of suicide is still unknown
The fire brigade pulled out the bodies of all from the Dudhrej canal. However, the reason behind the suicide is yet to be revealed. At present, the family members and neighbors of the deceased are being interrogated by the police. So the dead bodies have been shifted to PM Arthe Hospital.
Youth commits suicide in Chotila’s guest house
An incident has come to light that a youth from Wankaner committed suicide by hanging himself in a guest house on the highway at Chotila. According to preliminary information received, a 24-year-old youth named Kanji from Wakaner got into the room of Akash Palace Guest House on Chotila Highway on Wednesday. The administrator, who did not come out of the room until Thursday afternoon, reported it to the police. So when the police opened the room with another key, the young man was found hanging with a fan. The police shifted the body of the youth to PM Artha and conducted further investigation.

According to the information, three members of a family, husband, wife and son living in Balayogi Nagar of the city, tried to commit suicide by swallowing poisonous medicine. When the locals informed the police about the incident, the team of Ghogha Road Police Station rushed to the spot and immediately shifted the three to the hospital. Where the woman died during the treatment. When the condition of father and son was serious, they were shifted for treatment. A preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the family took this step due to financial crisis and embarrassment.
