Suspected of stealing, teacher undresses, student splashes kerosene in shame
Jamshedpur: A harrowing incident took place in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur in which a teacher took off a student’s clothes, suspecting that she was stealing, which led to her attempting suicide after being mistaken.
In a school in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), a class 9 student was forced by the teacher to take off her clothes, so that she set herself on fire by pouring kerosene.
The teacher suspected that the student had hidden the copy in her dress. The burnt student was taken by her relatives to a nearby hospital, where her condition is critical, a police official said. Now a complaint has been registered against the teacher and the matter is being investigated.
In her statement to the police, the victim has alleged that the lady invigilator insulted her and forced her to undress in the adjoining room of the class on suspicion of hiding a slip in the dress.

According to further information, the 9th standard student of Shardamani Girls High School reached home after her examination and tried to commit suicide by setting herself on fire. The girl, who suffered burns in the fire, was admitted to MGM Hospital in a critical condition, from where she was shifted to TMH. According to doctors, 80 percent of his body has been burnt and his condition is critical.
The family created an uproar

The principal dismissed the allegations as false
