Delhi: A student mistakenly collided with a senior in a central school, dragged her into the toilet and made her a victim.

Such incidents are happening every day, increasing the concern of parents. Children are not safe even in schools. The incident of gang-rape in Delhi’s central school has shaken the entire country.


The incident of gang-rape in a toilet in a central college in the national capital Delhi has raised several questions. Two senior students allegedly gang-raped an 11-year-old girl in the toilet. Police said on Thursday that a complaint has been registered in this regard. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has also ordered an inquiry in the field offices. The alleged incident dates back to July and the victim approached the police on Tuesday taking up the matter with the Delhi Commission for Women. Terming this incident as a serious matter, DCW has issued a notice to the Delhi Police and the principal of the school.

Why did the school not inform the police?

The school officials were asked to say why they did not inform the police about the incident. Officials of the Baju Kendriya Vidyalaya Association said that neither the victim nor her parents informed the principal of the school about the incident and the matter came to light after police investigation. KVS is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education and manages more than 1200 central schools spread across 25 regions of the country. According to the police, the victim registered a complaint on Tuesday and immediately registered the matter.


Did the teachers press the matter

DCW Chairperson Swati Maliwal said that we came to know of a very serious case of gang rape of an 11-year-old student inside a school in Delhi. The girl has alleged that her school teachers are trying to suppress the matter. It is extremely unfortunate that children are not safe even in schools in the capital. He has demanded strict action in this matter.

Maliwal said that the role of school authorities should also be investigated on this issue. According to the commission, Sagir has alleged that in July, while she was going to her class, she collided with two students of her school, who are studying in class 11 and 12. He said he apologized to the two students but both started swearing and took them inside a toilet, the DCW statement said. She alleged that the boys closed the toilet and locked the door from inside and raped her. When he reported the incident to the teachers, the boys were sent home from school and the matter was allegedly suppressed.
