Kanpur Violence: Posters of stone pelters released in case of Kanpur riots and violence, police will take strict action

During the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kanpur on Friday, in the case of riots and violence, the police have started cracking down on stone pelters as well as finding reasons. An SIT has been constituted regarding this incident of Beconganj police station area, along with it, terror funding is also being investigated. Beconganj police station has also put pictures of 40 stone pelters on the hoarding during this period. Its posters have also been put up in the city.

When the Kanpur Police released the poster by putting photos of the stone pelters involved in the incident of June 3, then the reaction started coming. One has said that they will be caught and handcuffed in the lock-up, the rioters will now be railed with full force. In the Kanpur violence case, the police released pictures of 40 suspects after scanning CCTV and video footage. Kanpur Police also released the mobile number (9454403715) of Inspector Beconganj to give information. Along with this, the names of the informers were announced to be kept secret.

Along with this, the Kanpur Police will also investigate the high-rise buildings around the new road. There was also talk of stone pelting from these buildings in the disturbance. Petrol bombs were also used during the violence, after which the district administration has sealed the petrol pump around the area. Their CCTV footage is also being examined. The police have also registered a case against social handles on 15 internet media. All these Twitter and Facebook accounts are accused of disturbing social harmony and disturbing the communal atmosphere. Forensic team has also inspected the spot. The team has inspected every street and road from where the stones were pelted.

On the instructions of the Home Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the SIT ie Special Investigation Team has started investigation into the nuisance on Friday in New Road and Dada Mian Ka Hata. SIT President DCP South Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi visited the nuisance-affected area on Monday. During this, he along with the police took information from the people about the day of the incident, what had happened at what time.

During this, he was told that a crowd had come on the Talaq Mahal Road. Here he was seen outside a shop with a CCTV camera installed, when he inquired about the shopkeeper and called him and interrogated him, he told that his CCTV camera was switched off on the day of the incident. On this he expressed deep displeasure and summoned the shopkeeper with DVR. He said that if the DVR was tampered with, then strict action would be taken against the shopkeeper as well.
