There was an Indian army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists had planned to attack this camp on September 6, 2016. The attack was carried out as a surprise attack, so that the soldiers did not get a chance to escape. The result was that India lost 18 of its soldiers. However, all four terrorists were later killed.

After entering about 3 kms, the Indian Army personnel started their special operation. Jawans destroyed all terrorist hideouts present in PoK.

During this entire operation, the Pakistani army could not get any idea. As soon as Pakistan came to know about this, it sent its fighter jets to the border, but the Indian Army returned after doing its work. Nothing came into Pakistan’s hands. More than 50 terrorists were killed in this entire attack. This operation was named surgical strike. PM Modi himself kept this in front of the country, after which it was celebrated across the country.

• The Indian Army selected the Parachute Regiment (Special Force) Para SF for the operation. The operation was launched in PoK at 12.30 pm.
• Para SF commandos were airlifted to the LoC by helicopter.
• The commandos crossed an area of ​​several kilometers by skidding on the ground.
• The army already had the exact knowledge of the terrorist bases.
• The commandos were fully equipped with sophisticated weapons.
• The operation was completed at 4.30 am.
• Army conducted operations in four different sectors in PoK.
• Around 40-50 terrorists were killed.
• 7 camps of terrorists were completely destroyed. All the soldiers returned safely after the operation.
