After the High Court crackdown on the issue of stray cattle in the state, the municipal corporation system is carrying out efforts to catch the cattle, but still the stray cattle have become a threat to the lives of the people. A video has gone viral on social media, in which a cow has reached a gallery on a one-story building while trying to catch stray cattle, and when a person goes to catch it, the cow jumps down from the gallery and falls down.
The video was found to be from Gomtipur
This video, which has gone viral on social media, has been found to be from Gomtipur area of Ahmedabad. Regarding the viral video in the social media, the CNCD department of the Municipal Corporation has not clarified whether this video is from Ahmedabad or whether any such incident has taken place in Ahmedabad and it has been learned that they have no knowledge about it.
Accident in Nicole due to cow
Another incident has also taken place, in which a couple with their children were riding a bike in Nikol area of Ahmedabad when suddenly a cow came on the road and the couple with the child hit the road. In this accident, in which the father was injured in the hand and the little girl was injured, while the mother and the child were unhurt. The accident happened to the Kanani family in Nikol area. The injured girl and her father have now been shifted to a nearby private hospital.
Reduction in the number of stray cattle caught
The CSNCD department of the municipal corporation is said to be functioning 24 hours a day by making 21 insurances, but day by day the number of stray cattle arrests is decreasing. The number of cattle seized by the municipal corporation’s CNCD department has reached between 70 and 100 in the last two days. After the High Court’s order, as many as 150 cattle were caught in the first ten days, but now the number of cattle caught is very low, with 21 teams working, only two cattle are caught daily.
