Thunderstorm forecast: Meghraja will lash these parts of Gujarat before taking a leave

Monsoon is now preparing to depart in Gujarat. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunderstorm in South Gujarat tomorrow.


The final phase of monsoon is going on in Gujarat now. As the monsoon prepares to leave Kutch after two days, sportsmen from North Gujarat and South Gujarat are once again in the news. According to the earlier forecast of the Meteorological Department, the risk of rain in Navratri had reduced. Due to which the sportsmen were happy but now the forecast has been changed by the weather department.

Normal rain forecast during Navratri days

According to the current forecast, there will be normal rain in Navratri, but as time goes by, it will rain in North Gujarat and South Gujarat. Meteorological Department has predicted normal rainfall only during Navratri days. South Gujarat will experience rain due to the effect of low pressure in West Central direction in Bay of Bengal. In which it is predicted to rain in South Gujarat tomorrow with thunderstorm.


Chance of heavy rain in the state is negligible

However, the relief news is that the possibility of heavy rains in the state is negligible. There will be rain in South Gujarat on September 25 and 26. But on the other hand, the monsoon has already started to depart in Kutch.

Monsoon began to depart in Kutch from Tuesday


It is worth mentioning that according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department in Kutch, the departure of monsoon has started from Tuesday. The Indian Meteorological Department informed that the first departure of the southwest monsoon of 2022 from the country has taken place from western Rajasthan and northwest corner of Kutch. The time line of departure of Monsoon 2022 is shown up to Lakhpat Taluka of Kutch. In Kutch, 845 mm of rain has been recorded against an average of 456 mm of rain in 86 days of monsoon.
