Striking 'death electricity' in Bihar, 23 people killed in 24 hours

A total of 23 people have died due to lightning in different parts of Bihar in the last 24 hours. The government has also announced compensation for the dead.

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued in 20 districts of Bihar. There is a possibility of good rainfall in these districts. In other districts, the atmosphere is expected to remain pleasant. In the meantime the maximum temperature is expected to be 34 to 37.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is 25 to 26 degrees Celsius.
Yellow alert for electricity in 20 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 20 districts of Bihar. These include Patna, Jahanabad, Gaya, Arval, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Kaimur, Buxar, Nawada, Nalanda, Aurangabad, Gaya, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger and Banga. In these districts, the Meteorological Department has advised people to stay in a safe place in areas with thunderstorms and electricity.
11 people killed by lightning
Due to lightning in Bihar, the death toll is not being stopped. In some areas of the state, rain has provided relief to the farmers, while in some areas, lightning has been created due to lightning. Bihar has killed 23 people in the last 24 hours due to lightning. 4 people were killed in Purnia, 4 of Supaul and 3 Araria.
Electricity fell at the Shiva temple of Rohtas
On Monday evening, most areas of the district received rainfall and in the meantime electricity shining continued. In this order, electricity collapsed at the old Shiva temple in Dharhara village of Akodigola. Smoke began to emerge from the dome with lightning in the temple. The talk of lightning on the temple spread rapidly in the village and a large number of people gathered near the temple. The villagers said that the temple is very old, but only the dome was damaged by lightning. No damage was done.
The Chief Minister expressed grief by tweeting
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the deceased, expressing deep grief over the deaths of 23 people in three districts of the state. Expressing grief over the tragedy, the Chief Minister tweeted that 11 people were killed due to lightning in 3 districts of the state. An X-grasia grant of Rs 4 lakh will be given to the dependents of the deceased immediately. Be careful in bad weather. Follow the instructions given by the Disaster Management Department to prevent hurricanes. Stay at home in bad weather, stay safe.
Reduction in temperature, heat relief
It may be recalled that due to the continuous rainfall in September in Bihar, the temperature of the cities is increasing. The capital was recorded at 33.3 degrees Celsius on Monday. Gaya will have 34 degrees Celsius, 32.2 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarpur, 35.7 in Bhagalpur and 34 degrees Celsius in Purnia. Moisture content will be 84 percent in the season.
