After this commotion, a live picture of the deceased has been found in the CCTV installed in the Pranpur police station.
SP Jitendra Kumar took immediate action and constituted an SIT and ordered to probe the CCTV. In the live video, it can be seen that Pramod is talking to the accused who was caught with him. During this time he falls while sitting. A heart attack is suspected in the lockup.
Currently SIT is probing the entire incident. After the investigation, the real cause of death will be revealed.
Died in police custody on Friday
Pranpur police arrested bootlegger Pramod and his accomplice on Friday night. Pramod died in custody the day after his arrest. After the death, locals and family members surrounded Pranpur police station and created ruckus.

When news of the youth’s death came to light, word spread like wildfire in the village and a crowd of villagers reached the police station. The mob ransacked the police station. During the riots, the police were attacked with sticks and rods and several policemen, including the head of the police station, were injured in stone pelting. Dandkhora Police Station Chairman Shailesh Kumar was seriously injured. Meanwhile, people also took away his service revolver.
He was taken to Sadar Hospital for treatment but as his condition worsened he was sent to Purniya. Apart from this, ASI Rohit Kumar, Police Officer Ajaz, Rizwan, Sudeep Kumar, Santosh Suman, Rajesh Paswan were injured among the police personnel. Pranpur police have registered an FIR against 61 names and more than 100 unidentified persons.
The mobile phone of the policeman was broken
The villagers were so enraged that if any person or journalist was found talking on the mobile, they would take the mobile and break it. The enraged villagers vandalized the four-wheeler and overturned the two-wheeler. Also broke the switch board and threw away the documents kept in the police station.
