Fire breaks out while charging electric bikes in hotel in Telangana, 8 die

A massive fire broke out in a hotel in Telangana’s Secunderabad. 8 people were killed and some were injured due to its collapse. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand said the fire broke out in an electric scooter recharging unit on the ground floor of the hotel and spread to the first and second floors.
Commissioner of Hyderabad said that many people had jumped from the building to save their lives. Local people came forward to his rescue. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. He said that many fire tenders are present at the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire is going on.
The Home Minister ordered an inquiry into the incident
State Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali has spoken about the investigation of this incident. It is a very unfortunate incident, he said. The fire brigade team is trying their best to rescue people from the lodge but some people have died due to heavy smoke. Some people have been rescued from the lodge. We are investigating how the incident happened.
PM Modi announced an aid of 2 lakhs
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over this incident of fire. PM Modi tweeted that he is saddened by the loss of life due to fire in Telangana’s Secunderabad. Deepest condolences to the bereaved families. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. Rs 2 lakh will be given to the families of each deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured from PMNRF.
