- New updates will come in WhatsApp
- Can message itself for multi login
- The layout of group info will also change
WhatsApp is all set to bring a major update. Meta’s company is bringing a feature to linked devices that will allow users to message themselves. WABetaInfo has stated that when users go to search in a contact in the WhatsApp desktop beta app, they will see their number at the top. That means you can send messages to your own number. This can be used to send messages to other devices when you have multi-device login.
The message will be sent to your number
After the release of the update to the stable version, users will be able to see their number while logging into WhatsApp from other mobile devices. It is believed that this feature will be introduced for both Android and iOS versions.
There will be an option to report bugs
Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on a new section ‘Report Bugs’, which will appear in the app’s settings. WhatsApp currently has a ‘Contact Us’ option that allows users to report any issues with the app.
Changes to group info layout
Not only that, as seen in the screenshots shared by WB last week, the group info design is about to change. Look at the photo below. How different is the design before and now? Users will get this change in the latest update of the beta, where the ‘Group Admin’ indicator will now appear in a dark highlight.
New features will come for the language
WaBetaInfo has further informed that a new language-related feature is being tested in the app. WABetaInfo posted via its Twitter account that the new feature is called ‘App Language’, and is rolling out to WhatsApp’s Android beta 2.22.19.10.
