Celebration of World Gujarati Language Day Poet Narmad, Jeevan Gaurav Award announced

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Gujarati Sahitya Akademi is celebrating poet Narmad’s birth anniversary on August 24 as “World Gujarati Language Day”. This year also on August 24, Sunday at 4 pm at Ravandri Nataya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai, World Gujarati Language Day will be celebrated through a farce of the two-act play ‘Arab and Camel’ written by Dhiruben Patel, said Hemraj Shah, Chairman of the Academy.
