Among them, 37 jawans were from ITBP and 2 jawans were from Jammu and Kashmir Police. According to information received, the accident occurred due to brake failure. The jawans were going to Pahalgam from Chandanwadi. Many jawans are feared to have died in this matter. These jawans were deployed during the Amarnath Yatra. It is suspected that more than 7 people have been martyred.
According to sources, the accident happened due to brake failure. While many jawans have been injured. He has been airlifted to Srinagar Army Hospital. At present, the rescue operation is going on.
Chandanwadi is 16 km from Pahalgam. The Amarnath Yatra has just concluded. In such a situation, the security forces deployed in this yatra are returning to their respective units. It is being said that these soldiers were also returning after doing their duty. Then the bus fell into the valley due to brake failure. The bus has fallen into a valley far below the bank of the river. It is being said that it is likely to cause a lot of damage.
It is being told that the bus which met with the accident was being followed by another ITBP bus. It had commandos. As soon as the front bus hit, the commandos sitting in the second bus got down and immediately started the rescue operation.
It is being told that the soldiers who sustained minor injuries have been sent to Pahalgam for treatment. Also, seriously injured have been airlifted to Srinagar. ITBP may order an inquiry into the accident, it is said. It will be investigated whether there is any terrorist conspiracy in this matter.
