Today, 15th August 2022, the 75th anniversary of India’s independence is being celebrated. On the 76th Independence Day of the country, the tricolor was hoisted from different parts of the country from the Red Fort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the ninth time by hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort. During this, a 21 gun salute was also given. Strict security arrangements have also been made around the Red Fort.
Nepotism has to be ended – PM
PM Modi said, when I talk about nepotism, nepotism, people think that I am only talking about the political field. Unfortunately, this evil of politics has nurtured nepotism in all institutions of India. It hurts the talent of my country. PM Modi appealed to the youth that I want the support of the youth in the fight against nepotism.
PM Modi raised the issue of corruption and nepotism
PM Modi said, I want to discuss two topics. I believe that due to our challenges, disorders, diseases, if we are not alerted in time, the 25 years amrut period can take a terrible form. PM Modi said that one is corruption, the other is nepotism.
The Prime Minister said that in a democracy like India where people are struggling with poverty. On the one hand there are people who have no place to live. There are other such people. Those who have no place to keep the looted money. We have to fight corruption. Those who ran away after robbing the banks in the previous governments. We are confiscating their assets. Many people are in jail. Our effort is to create a situation for those who have looted the country to return the looted money.
PM Modi said, corruption is hollowing the country like termites. We have to fight against it. We have to intensify the fight against it. I need the support of 130 crore Indians so that I can fight this corruption. That is why my countrymen are concerned about corruption. But there is no consciousness against the corrupt.
