CNG price will be reduced! The government has taken a big decision

In a notification issued by the Ministry of Petroleum, the earlier order was amended to increase the allocation of locally produced gas to gas distributors. The allocation for gas distribution companies in cities like Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) of Delhi and Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) of Mumbai has been increased from 17.5 million cubic meters per day to 2078 million cubic meters, officials said.

After the prices of CNG and PNG reached the seventh sky in the past few days, now there is hope of relief. The government’s decision may bring good news to consumers. In order to reduce the price of CNG and PNG, the government allocated some amount of natural gas from industries to city gas distribution companies. This is expected to reduce the prices in the coming time.

The increased allocation will meet 94 percent of the demand for piped LPG and CNG supply for vehicles in the country. So far about 83 percent of the demand was met through this. The rest of the allocation was met through LNG imports by GAIL. Officials said gas distribution companies had complained about the arrangement at high prices for imported LNG. He said that due to this, the prices of CNG and piped LPG are increasing frequently.

Let us tell you that last time in Indraprastha Gas Limited, the price of CNG in Delhi was increased by a bumper Rs 4 per kg. After this the price is Rs 75.61 per kg
