Gujarat Education Department's decision: Students of standard 9 to 12 can now change medium including Gujarati, English

Students have to apply to DEO in the first semester itself

The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has decided that the students studying in medium including Gujarati and English in class 9 to 12 will be able to change the medium by the first semester.

Students are studying in different mediums including English, Gujarati in secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. Parents and students demanded that students studying in different mediums should be given an opportunity to change medium when these students cannot change medium, as a result of which they suffer.

Keeping in mind the interest of the students, in the meeting of the Education Committee of the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, there was a discussion about allowing the students studying in class 9 to 12 to change the medium.
