Hardik Pandya creates history in WI, first Indian player to hold this record in T20

All-rounder Hardik Pandya has made a big record in his name. He did something that no Indian player had done before in the match against West Indies.

Team India’s explosive all-rounder Hardik Pandya is in very good form at the moment. All-rounder Hardik Pandya’s record-breaking performance continues from IPL 2022. Hardik Pandya also made a big record in the third T20 match against the Windies at Warner Park in St Kitts on Tuesday. He did something in this match that no Indian player could do before.




Hardik Pandya created history

Hardik Pandya bowled 4 overs in the match played against West Indies and conceded only 19 runs at an economy of 4.75 and took 1 wicket. With this wicket, Hardik Pandya completed his 50 wickets in T20 international cricket and also made a record in his name. Hardik Pandya became the first Indian player to score more than 500 runs and 50 wickets in T20 cricket. Hardik is the 9th player in the world to achieve this feat.

Most wickets for India in T20Is

Hardik Pandya became the sixth bowler to complete 50 wickets for India in T20 International cricket. Before him this record has been done by Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. On the other hand, if we talk about the highest wicket-taker for India in T20 international cricket, it is Yuzvendra Chahal. Yuzvendra Chahal has taken 79 wickets in 60 T20 matches for India.




Pandya’s International Cricket

Hardik Pandya was out of Team India from T20 World Cup 2021. But he has once again become an important part of Team India. Hardik Pandya has so far scored 806 runs at an average of 23.03 and taken 50 wickets in 66 T20 matches for India. Hardik Pandya has also played 66 ODI matches in which he has taken 1386 runs and 63 wickets. Pandya has also been a part of the team in 11 Tests in which he has taken 532 runs and 17 wickets.
