Four inches of rain in Ahmedabad submerges entire city, CM calls emergency meeting amid heavy rains forecast for next 2 days

Ahmedabad received three inches of rain from 7 pm to 9 pm. Areas including Jodhpur, Satellite, Sarkhej, ISKCON, SG Highway, Juhapura have received four inches of rain in two hours. Areas including Ashram Road, Usmanpura, Vadaj, Maninagar, Kankaria, Kotarpur, Sardarnagar, Noblenagar, Bodakdev have received more than three and a half inches of rain. If the low-lying area was flooded, traffic jams were created in some places. After a heavy downpour, the city’s atmosphere is chilly with rain. Ahmedabad has received the heaviest rainfall of the season today. All areas of Ahmedabad are flooded.
