Flood crisis in Kheda: Schools and colleges closed in Ahmedabad today

All school colleges in Ahmedabad will be closed tomorrow, Amuko’s decision following heavy rains

Due to heavy rains in Gujarat, people have suffered in many parts. Due to the flood situation in many areas of Nadiad in Kheda district, people living in low-lying areas have to be shifted to safer places. Disaster Management Minister Rajendra Trivedi said that fortunately no casualties were reported. Operations have been carried out by NDRF and SDRF teams to rescue the trapped people.

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation announced the closure of schools and colleges last night. 114.3 mm in just three hours in Ahmedabad. Heavy rains in Valsad, Navsari, Tapi and other parts of Gujarat have also affected people’s lives.
