LPG price hiked again, now you can get a cylinder of cooking gas for Rs. 1,053

The price of LPG gas cylinder has been increased again. Cooking gas cylinders have been hiked by Rs 50 since the morning of July 6. In Delhi, the price of a gas cylinder has gone up to Rs 1,053. In Kolkata, the price of a domestic gas cylinder has gone up to Rs 1,079, in Mumbai to Rs 1,052.50 and in Chennai to Rs 1,068.50.

Reduction in the price of commercial cylinders

The price of a commercial cylinder has been reduced. Let me tell you that even before this, on July 1, the price of a commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 198 from the fuel companies. But today the rise in cooking gas prices has tweaked the fuel companies to the general public. The last time the price of cooking gas was changed was on May 19.

The cost of a commercial gas cylinder

It may be mentioned that on July 1, the commercial gas cylinder in Delhi fell to Rs 2021. Now, on July 6, the price has come down again to Rs 2012.50. A commercial gas cylinder will cost Rs 2,132 in Kolkata, Rs 1,972.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2,177.50 in Chennai.

Up to 12 cylinders will get subsidy

Before July 1, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 135 on June 1. Thus, the price of a commercial cylinder has come down by more than Rs 300 in the last 35 days. It may be mentioned that the government had a few days ago announced a subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder under the Ujwala scheme. This subsidy will be available up to 12 cylinders annually.
