Many projects have been damaged. Not only this, tourist camps have also been damaged in Manikarn. Local police said that on Wednesday, a cloudburst in Kullu caused floods in Manikarn Valley. Due to this the situation has become uncontrollable. The administration is busy evacuating people safely.
NDRF DG Atul Karwal said that four-five people are missing due to cloudburst near Kullu. About 2-3 people are trapped in a house that was washed away. Our team has been sent from Manali.
Kullu SP Gurdev Sharma said that there is a flood situation in the district due to rain. But the teams are actively engaged in the rescue work. Right now it is being told that 6 people have gone missing in the floods. Search for him is going on. Also 7 houses have suffered heavy damage. 3 projects have also suffered. Due to the flood, the water of the dam is not being released. Along with this, an appeal has been made to the people not to go to the banks of the rivers.
SP Gurdev Sharma said that the rain has also caused havoc in Manikarn. Dozens of tourist camps and houses have been damaged here. At the same time, disaster management officials said that about 6 people have gone missing due to the floods. In view of the danger, people are being appealed to stay in safe places. Do not go to the banks of rivers.
SP Sharma said that the relief and rescue work is going on continuously. The local administration is shifting people to safer places. In the state where it has been raining for the last two days, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.
