Potholes in the roads or the road in the potholes, it is difficult to say

Badaun. No matter how much the government claims that the roads are potholed, but there are many major roads of the city which are in very bad shape. These roads are exposing the claims of the government. The special thing is that no concrete step has been taken by the Municipal Council for the construction of these roads which have turned into potholes. Be it public representatives or officials, their vehicles also pass through the potholes made in these roads, while the Yogi government had given orders to make all roads pothole free as soon as it came to power.

The road from Gaddichowk to Naisarai is in a dilapidated condition for a long time. In many places, the road has to be searched in potholes. People often fall and get injured. People have demanded to get it built many times but their demand has never been heeded. Hence, the condition of this road is becoming even more pathetic.

There is traffic of people all the time on the road leading to the station from under the overbridge. There are many big potholes on this road, which has become a problem for everyone. Officials and leaders also pass through this road daily, but no one cares to get the road repaired. In such a situation, people are not tired of cursing the public representatives as well as the municipal administration.

The road connecting Nai Sarai to Bareilly Road is losing its existence. There is a long pothole on the road near the Yellow Kothi, in which the water gets waterlogged without rain. Due to this people have to face trouble. There is also a lot of traffic on this road. Four and two wheelers coming from Bareilly side pass through this road.

The road leading from Gaddi Chowk to Indira Chowk is also in a dilapidated condition. In many places the road itself has disappeared. The people here say that they do not understand what they are being punished for, which till date no one has taken care of its construction. The shopkeepers are also worried.
