6 innocents die after drowning in a lake in Gurugram: Seeing his friends drowning, a child screamed, but no one heard, all the water was turned away.

In Sector-110 A, a pit on an estimated 4 acres of a builder’s land had formed a pond due to rainwater. The depth of this rain pond was not estimated and 6 children aged 8 to 12 years had to bathe. Meanwhile, all the children drowned. The information that the children had drowned was given to the police at 6 pm. However, it is being suggested that a total of 8 children have drowned in this lake. Still searching.
A team of fire, police and SDRF conducted a 4-hour rescue operation
Fire department, police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel and swimmers arrived. These teams have been conducting rescue operations for the last 4-5 hours. By 9 pm, the bodies of 6 children have been found. However, the rescue operation is still going on.
A friend of the children ran and informed the family
It is being told that all the children were residents of Shankar Vihar, a nearby colony. A friend of the children saw all of them drowning and shouted to the people around. But since the residential area was far away, no one came to rescue. When this child immediately ran to his colony and told them, the family members came running and started searching. When the children were not found, the system was informed. According to the information, the police have informed the families of all and sent the dead bodies for postmortem. Police are conducting further investigation.
Whose negligence is behind the accident will be investigated: DC Nitin Yadav
Informing about the incident, DC Nitin Yadav said that the bodies of all the children have been taken out. The deceased have been identified as Deva, Piyush, Ajit, Durgesh, Rahul and Rahul. All the children are aged between 8 and 12 years and are residents of Shankar Vihar. They went to bathe in the rain pond around 3 pm. One of the children reported that the rest of the children had drowned. After which the families of the deceased children reached and informed the police. An investigation will also be conducted to determine who is negligent behind the accident. On the other hand, people are demanding strict action against those responsible.
Chief Minister Khattar expressed his grief, announced an aid of 2-2 lakhs
Official Nishant Kumar Yadav who reached the spot said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal has announced an aid of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the children expressing grief over the incident. The Chief Minister has also expressed grief by tweeting. It says that the land has been bought by a big builder.
