Poor economic situation kills 9: 9 members of the same family commit suicide in Sangli, Maharashtra
A shocking incident has come up from Sangli district of Maharashtra. Here in Mhaisal of Miraj taluka, 9 people of the same family have committed mass suicide. Each of these family members has committed suicide by drinking poison. The dead included a doctor couple. The suicide incident happened on Monday afternoon. The bodies of 6 people were found in one room of the doctor couple and 3 more bodies were found in the other room. No motive has been identified for the killings, but neighbors say the family is struggling financially.

Neighbors said in a preliminary investigation that the family was facing financial hardship. Borrowed money from many people. Neighbors who saw the body in the house immediately informed the police about it. Police then rushed to the spot and started investigation.
