After all, why is Pakistan banning tea in its own country?

In Pakistan, which is going through bad economic conditions, the prices of food items are increasing continuously. Meanwhile, Pakistan has now urged its citizens to minimize the use of tea. The Minister of Planning and Development of Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal has told the people there that they should drink tea at least. Let us tell you that the prices of pulses, sugar, vegetables and fruits are touching the sky in Pakistan, due to which the condition of the general public is seen to be deteriorating.
Because of this, Pakistan is refusing to drink tea: Pak Minister Ahsan Iqbal says that we have to import tea from outside. If the people of Pakistan reduce the consumption of tea, then it will help in reducing the import expenditure of the government. Right now we import tea from outside by taking loans. With the reduction in tea consumption, our import expenditure is going to come down, which will reduce the pressure on the economic structure.
The minister made this appeal to the traders and the general public: Planning and Development Minister of Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal has demanded from the traders and the people of the country to help in rescuing Pakistan trapped in economic crisis. He has said about this that along with the increase in the prices of food items in the country, electricity crisis is also arising. In such a situation, all the traders should close their shops till 8.30 pm.
Ban imposed on the import of 41 things for 2 months: The news says that the government of Pakistan has recently stopped the import of 41 things for 2 months to reduce its import expenditure. However, this import ban did not add much to the exchequer. Due to this, Pakistan has made a profit of about $ 600 million in reducing its import bill.
