How to take a bath ?: Why do most people in the bathroom have a brain stroke or heart attack? Know what the expert says?

Have you ever bathed in a river or lake? Have you ever noticed that before going into this water, we dip our feet in the water and check how cold the water is? That is, we check the temperature of the water. After this process it becomes easier to dive into the water. When water reaches the neck part of the body, the body temperature adjusts with the water. Then we dive into the water. In this way the bathing process starts with the feet first and then reaches the head.

Suresh Agarwal, a doctor of Integrated Allopathy and Ayurveda, Clinical Research, Ranchi, says that it is not advisable to pour water directly on the head while bathing. It has been a tradition in our country for centuries to pour water first on the legs, then on the waist, then on the neck and finally on the head. Everyone can try this sequence. From a scientific point of view, pouring cold water directly on the head disrupts blood circulation. The capillary veins first constrict and then the blood pressure suddenly rises. In fact, in such cases, the blood flows from the legs to the head and the risk of stroke increases due to improper blood circulation at this time. Dr. Agarwal says that it is noteworthy here that most brain strokes or heart attacks occur in the bathroom.

The risk is higher if there is already an illness
This traditional bathing routine should be followed, but those who already have heart disease are more likely to have a stroke or heart attack in the bathroom. In such cases, it is found that the victim already has such symptoms.

These three factors are important

  • Your body temperature after bath
  • Is the water cold or hot
  • your cardiac health

Why not bathe frequently?
Sweating is a natural part of summer days. Many people sweat a lot. In such a situation bathing from outside environment is not good for health. Doctors say that bathing more than twice a day reduces the amount of oiliness in the skin and also flushes out the healthy bacteria which protects us against infections. This makes the skin very dry and the bacteria from outside enter its cracks.
