Diabetes patient no longer has to amputate legs: Applying ointment prepared by two Ahmedabadi scientists at once will heal wounds in 30 days, animal trial successful
- The number of diabetic patients in the country is 80 million
- More than 50 lakh Gujaratis have diabetes
Foot problems are common in diabetes. About 60% of patients with diabetes have leg problems. High blood sugar causes this problem in the long run. Sometimes it is the turn of the patient to amputate the toes, fingers as well as the legs due to foot problems, which is very expensive and requires a long stay in the hospital, but the days are not far away when the wounds of diabetics heal quickly.
Sanjay Bhagat and Vishal Joshi, two scientists from Ahmedabad, have for the first time researched a drug that could be a boon for diabetics. The medicine developed by these two doctors can quickly heal the wounds of the patient, so that such patients can get relief from the problem of getting cancer or amputation in the future. These two doctors have prepared this ointment together with Dr. Kranti Vora and Dr. Senthil Nates.
Trying to solve the problem together with Dr. Kranti Vora
Dr. Sanjay Bhagat and Dr. Vishal Joshi met Dr. Kranti Vora at LM Pharmacy College’s Start-up Incubation Center in an attempt to solve the problem of unbearable pain for diabetics. Applying ointment or gel solution to diabetic patients where there is a wound is claimed to give relief in 30 days.
Ointment has to be applied only once: Dr. Vishal Joshi
Dr. involved in research in this regard. Vishal Joshi in a conversation with Divyabhaskar said that if a person has any kind of wound, especially the wounds of diabetic patients, the wounds heal quickly and start healing. The drug will be given by injection, which does not have a needle. It will be applied to the wound by injection only. The peculiarity of this medicine is that it has to be used only once under the guidance of a doctor.
Dr. Senthil, who has worked at the University of Maryland, discovered blood cells
Researcher of ‘Bio-Gen’ medicine, Dr. Senthil Nates did research for this drug for 12 years. Researched for 2 years as a professor at Johns Hopkins University in the US and working in the virology department at the University of Maryland in the US. In this regard, Dr. Senthil says that during his research abroad, he has discovered the type of blood cell that can effectively heal a patient’s wound.
Dr. Senthil came to India with the spirit of doing something for the country
After researching this blood cell abroad, he returned to India with the spirit of doing something for the country. In Ahmedabad, his friend Dr. Research with Vishal Joshi and Dr. Sanjay Bhagat initiated efforts to find out how the patient could actually be applied. Jenny’s animal trial has been completed and good results have been obtained.
This research may prove useful: Dr. Mahesh Chhabria
The principal of LM College of Pharmacy, Dr. Mahesh Chhabria said, “Bleeding is usually a major cause of serious concern when a diabetic suffers a minor injury. Over time, if the wound is not healed, it can turn into cancer. This is followed by the removal of the injured part, so that this research can be extremely useful for diabetics.
Even in a minor injury you have to be very careful: Dr. Bansi Sabu
Dr. Bansi Sabu, a well-known diabetic from Ahmedabad, said, “Keeping diabetics in control of diabetes is the biggest and best cure, but in case the diabetes goes out of control, the patient has to be very careful even if it is a minor injury. According to the International Diabetes Federation, there are approximately 80 million diabetics in the country, while Gujarat has an estimated 50 million diabetics.
