Travelers from Karnataka to Manilakshmitirtha in Anand have had a tragic accident. On the Anand-Borsad route, a mini passenger bus and an ST bus collided with each other, injuring several passengers. The injured passengers have been shifted to the hospital via 108 ambulances.

According to sources, the pilgrims, who had come to Anand from Karnataka by rail to visit the Manilakshmi shrine at Manej in Borsad, boarded a mini traveler bus and left the Anand railway station. Where he had a terrible accident on the Anand-Borsad road around 5 am. At least 11 passengers were reportedly injured in an accident caused by a collision between an ST bus and a mini passenger bus.

About 108 ambulances reached the spot
As many as 108 ambulances rushed to the spot. From where the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment. Four injured people have been brought to Karamsad Medical Hospital and another seven are being treated at Borsad Private Hospital. One of the injured was also found to be in critical condition
