The first Rajkot airport in Gujarat installed Skyflow software, where planes from all over the country can be seen flying

The movement of any flight flying in the sky can be monitored
The air traffic of flights has also increased in the sky as vehicle traffic occurs on roads, highways or national highways. To control this, Skyflow software has been installed at Rajkot Airport for the first time in Gujarat. With the help of this software, flights flying from Rajkot Airport to all corners of the country can be viewed as well as the direction of the flight can be given to the pilot when the flight connected to any city from Rajkot is in the air. So far the pilots have been directing the flight according to the estimates of vigilance and air traffic control. The state-of-the-art software has been developed by a Delhi team under the tutelage and guidance of Rajkot Airport Director Digant Borah.
Fuel waste will be stopped and schedule will not be disrupted
Air Traffic Controller (ATC) Head Parvez said about the Skyflow feature that with the activation of this software, the flight will now be flying at an altitude of 2000 to 3000 feet in the sky, but it will be easy to see from the Rajkot airport. This information can be given to the pilot of the flight landing at Rajkot or taking off. While sitting in the ATC unit, the software highlights the details of which flight flew at which time in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or any other city of the country or which flight is about to land. With the help of software, the schedule of one air service remains regular and often the fuel wastage that used to occur when two flights were converging in the same direction or at the same time will now stop.
No accident has taken place at Rajkot airport yet
According to the information provided by the Airport Authority, so far the aerial position of all flights arriving and departing at Rajkot airport was indicated on the basis of movement assumption or after entering the radar area. The ATC’s perception of which flights would arrive at approximately when and where, at what altitude it currently flies, or how long it would take to land, was determined by the pilot’s vigilance as well as an estimate of whether or not to cross air traffic or obstacles. Fortunately, so far in the Rajkot airport area, not a single celestial accident has occurred due to the alertness of the two.
