Karthik and Harshal stood together, still not run out; Later both won the match

A very exciting match was played in IPL on Wednesday. The condition of RCB, which came out to chase the target of 129 runs, was ruined by the bowlers of Kolkata Knight Riders. At one time it seemed that Kolkata would win the match comfortably, but Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel did not allow this to happen. Karthik scored 14 runs in 7 balls in the last over at a strike rate of 200. At the same time, 10 runs came off 6 balls from Harshal’s bat. Together they gave RCB their first win of the season. In this victory, along with Karthik’s brilliant innings, an unforgivable mistake in Kolkata’s poor fielding also had a hand.

Opportunity to dismiss Karthik in the 19th over and KKR lost the match
In the 19th over of the match, the Kolkata players missed an easy opportunity to dismiss Dinesh Karthik. Had Dinesh been out there, KKR could have easily won this match. Actually Dinesh Karthik played a shot on the second ball of the 19th over and Harshal Patel ran for a quick run, but Karthik did not run and both the batsmen stood at the same place. The ball went to Umesh Yadav and he bowled a very poor throw. There was no backup player to catch the ball.

Due to this, the chance of run out from the hands of KKR was lost. Later, the pair of Karthik and Harshal finished the match. Had RCB lost one more wicket at that time, the result of the match would have been different. Now the video of this entire incident is going viral on social media.

First win for RCB
Chasing the target of 129 runs, RCB had a very poor start and the team lost 3 wickets for 36 runs in the power play. Anuj Rawat (0), captain Faf du Plessis (5) and Virat Kohli (12) were dismissed for runs as short innings from Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel gave RCB their first win of the season.

Earlier in their first match, RCB had to face defeat by 5 wickets against Punjab. In the match, Bangalore’s team had scored 205 runs in 20 overs, but Punjab’s team chased this target in 19 overs.
