Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, Reliance, ITC Shares Rise as Sensex, Nifty Close Lower

Indian stock markets closed lower on the last day of the week today. The Sensex fell 135 points to close at 51360. The Nifty was down 67 points at 15,293.

• Shares of Titan Company, Wipro, Dr. Reddy Labs fell

Shares of Titan Company, Wipro, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Asian Paints and Sun Pharma closed lower on the Sensex. Titan Company fell 6.06 percent to close at 1935.35. Wipro closed 4.07 per cent lower at 405.20. However, shares of Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, Reliance, ITC and others closed higher. Bajaj Finance rose 2.63 per cent to close at 5422.70. ICICI Bank rose 1.43 per cent to close at 688.10.

Indian stock markets closed lower on Thursday. The Sensex fell 1046 points to close at 51495. The Nifty fell 332 points to close at 15360. Shares of Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, IndusInd Bank and others closed lower on the Sensex. Tata Steel fell 6.04 per cent to close at 901.70. Tech Mahindra fell 4.37 per cent to close at 975.50. However, shares of Nestle, Britannia, HUL and others closed higher. Nestle rose 0.43 percent to close at 16,874.00. Britannia rose 0.15 percent to close at 3390.40.
